I was scheduled for an injection this past week and I drove over 130 miles for this procedure, only to learn the provider had never gotten the insurance authorization for the procedure. I was then sent away without any treatment. My appointment had originally been pushed out 2 weeks to allow time for the authorization, however, the provider dropped the ball on that.
