I only wish Dr. Torrey was an Internal Med or Primary Care doctor. He would be the only doctor I would want! Dr. Robt. Torrey is a brilliant, well educated, well practiced, 2nd generation Urologist who provides exceptional care and comfort. Dr. Torrey’s office staff has always been very friendly, courteous and efficient.Yes, Dr. Torrey has a busy and full schedule, if he is your doctor, you’ll understand why. That being said, I have never felt that the wait time was extensive, or my appt. was rushed!
If you don't mind waiting 1.5 hours past your appointment time he is knowledgeable. Just be ready for loooong wait times.
My husband has been Dr Torrey’s patient since mid 2012. He did everything possible to keep my husband’s wishes to keep his bladder and prostrate as cancer was found back then. All kinds of treatments but unfortunately they didn’t work for him. Spread to kidney and removed kidney. Recently had bladder removed but more cancer found. So caring, compassionate and explains everythi... read more
Dr Torrey is the physician I have encountered in my 70 years. Direct and to the point explaining both the risks and the benefits of his surgical procedures. I credit his wisdom with extending my life and maintaining a quality lifestyle. If you are a candidate for a radical prostatectomy, you have found the best robotic surgeon in the field.
Dr. Torrey is by far the nicest, most compassionate Dr. my husband and I have ever met. He treated my husband for a growth on his kidney that turned out to be benign, thankfully. He was with us every step of the way. He explained the possible outcomes and treatment plans very thoroughly. We wish all doctors could take lessons from him on bedside manner. A true gem!
Administrative system , for reservations is not functioning efficiently.
Been with Dr Torrey over a year now and am so impressed with his knowledge, patience and willingness to spend time in explaining all details.
I have been with Dr Torrey for years, including several major surgeries. He is without a doubt my favorite doctor because his rapport with me has been extremely compassionate. He explains every possible aspect of the surgery and follow up treatment. He is always “there” when needed the most. I could give numerous examples. I couldn’t possibly give a more positive review.
This was a first time visit and he had a terrific personality for a physician. He was all business but was an extremely personable physician for a patient.
