It's difficult and confusing for a non-medical person to find out or attempt to evaluate a doctor's level of competentcy. Through research i discovered Dr. Hanley graduated at the top of his class. I developed prostrate Cancer and thanks to Doctor Hanley:s successful operation I've been cancer free going on 8 years..He is very professional and I would highly recommend him. I plan on doing a follow-up as soon as he is available .
Dr, Hanley refused to listen to my questions or discuss reasons for my elevated PSA test results and wouldn't consider any other tests/procedures to rule out a prostate infection, etc. He insisted on a prostate biopsy as the only alternative. I would not recommend Dr. Hanley. He doesn't respect personal feelings or concerns .
Dr. Hanley is a great doctor. We first met him when my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Dr. Hanley was able to provide us with all of the information we needed in a manner that comforted us and gave us confidence in his abilities. The surgery he performed on my husband was very successful! Dr. Hanley is also providing follow up examinations for my husband. He continues to be informative, kind, and extremely pleasant. We recommend him highly for anyone in need of a urologist.
I am a 52 year old male, so I have visited a few doctors in my day, and I must say, not only was the surgery a success but he has a very calming bed side manner, five stars all a round...??
