Dr. Prieto was my oncologist through one year of chemo treatments for pancreatic cancer. The technique that he decided upon was awesome. Pancreatic cancer is very fatal usually, but with Dr. Prieto and him sending me to San Antonio for the Whipple, I survived, and I am now nine years cancer free. Dr. Prieto has been incredibly compassionate while caring for my dad through his battle with lymphoma. He provides thoughtful guidance, shows genuine patience, and delivers exceptional medical care. My dad never feels rushed. Dr. Prieto truly takes the time to listen, and it’s clear he deeply cares about his patients. We are so grateful to have found him and HIGHLY recommend his care.
I am Mary Maxwell and the previous terrible post by someone is so wrong because I was a patient of Dr Prieto for years in San Angelo TX before I moved and Dr Prieto is the most compassionate and kind doctor I have ever known who talks to his patients on a personal level about their life and takes his time instead of rushing me through like I’m just another body as most doctors now do!!! I will always remember him with kindness! I wish all doctors were half as wonderful as he is 🥰
He should not practice! He saw my mother-in-law at Providence (Transmountain Campus) and recommended Hospice. He convinced us but luckily we got a second opinion. Three years later, she is still living well.
If I could I would leave a 0 as a review. This doctor doesn't give one iota of care for his patients. I am caring for someone who is going through chemo. On his first treatment his labs came back as extremely low for potassium. We were told that a prescription would be sent in to his pharmacy. It never was. I bought over the counter potassium hoping it would elevate, but when we went to his 2nd treatment two weeks later, he was even lower on potassium.
