Dr. Keenan and his staff did an exceptional job for me. I had a lower hernia that had been progressing over 3 years and had gotten to the point where I could barely walk. They did an excellent job on my surgery and I had none of the after effects and issues that I heard from so many others that have had a similar surgery. My experience with Dr. Keenan went well beyond his current 3.8 star rating. As with anyone concerned about going through an upcoming surgery, i was somewhat apprehensive, and considered finding another physician, but those concerns have been completely allayed after my consultation, surgery and post-surgical evaluation. I highly recommend this very skillful and caring doctor.
Nice guy but not very competent. Told my sister she would most likely die if he performed surgery on her.. Didn't have any resolution to her issue with infection and a fistula from a ruptured appendix. Ended up finding a great surgeon at UCLA. Get out of the area and go to a UC hospital if you have anything big going on!
