I took my mother to see Dr Brims for cataract surgery! She loved him and so did I. She has her life back and is able to drive again. A wonderful experience! He is very busy and there will be a wait but it will be worth it !!

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while. Overall, the office staff was not overly friendly or professional—especially the doctor & his assistant. The main receptionist was kind. My appt was during a COVID surge. A couple of the employees and several patients were not masked, despite the CDC’s guidelines. I didn’t hear any employees telling the unmasked patients to mask up. There was a patient coughing near me. As someone who has high-risk family members & my own medical issues, I felt uncomfortable and unsafe. I h... read more

I am beyond thankful and grateful to this amazing doctor,Dr Brems! My cataract/stent surgery, which I was so trepidious about was a painless experience just as promised! My eye pressure has decreased and I can see the world in bright, intense color!! I can't wait to have my other eye done!! The entire staff in this office are professional, warm and friendly! So happy to have found this place. The drive from Pinetop/Lakeside where we live is definitely worth it! Thank you again!

I was visiting from out of town when I had a sudden loss of vision in my right eye. I presented to the ER at Honor Health Scottsdale Shea. Dr. Brems was the ophthalmologist on call and was notified of my admission but chose not to come in to evaluate and treat me. I was given TPA for a presumed diagnosis of central retinal artery occlusion. I was then admitted to ICU for monitoring since TPA has some major risk factors, including post infusion hemorrhage, which could lead to a stroke. After 24 hours of begging to be seen by ... read more

I received great care from Dr. Brems. I struggled with undiagnosed chronic eye fatigue and pain for seven years. After seeing five different ophthalmologists including those at the University of Pennsylvania, I finally found a doctor that could pinpoint and solve my problem of convergence insufficiency. Thank you Dr. Robert Brems !
