Some people have good results and some have bad results. No doctor is perfect, but in my opinion Dr Scharfman is great.
Dr. Scharfman, you should be ashamed of yourself!!! I truly believed I had done my due diligence when I sought out a highly credentialed ophthalmologist for my parents, both in their 90s. While they are physically frail, they are absolutely cognitively aware and capable of understanding what happens during a medical visit. I have been a patient of Dr. Scharfman for several years and I see him regularly. The only complaint I have is with his assistants that they do not follow infection control protocols. They open the door with their gloved hands while holding the patients chart. They call the patient in the room touching the computer keyboard, then put drops in in your eyes still having the same gloves on. I think Dr. Scharfman needs to have a talk with his technicians about infection control.
