I made an appointment for my Uncle to see Dr. Scharfman. They went over dates and times available. We arrive to the office and a heavyset girl leaning back in her chair rolled her eyes and proceeded to highlight forms we needed to fill out. Then we are called into an exam room and a Dr K says “Hi I am Dr K”. Before examining my 85yo Uncle, he stayed that he will need cataract surgery. I said “ you did not examine him yet”!! Superb care by Dr Scharfman and his team. Dr Scharfman is an expert with great bedside manner . His staff are courteous , professional and welcoming .
Today is Wednesday November 13th, I had cataract eye surgery by Dr. Robert Scharfman on Monday the 11th. My first appointment was scheduled for 11:45. I was seen promptly at 11:45. His office staff is very efficient and very friendly. The technicians who preform the initial eye exam are proficient and very well schooled in using his state of the art equipment. Dr Scharfman recently performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes, 2 wks apart. I have to say the procedures & follow up appointments were flawless. The office staff are very nice and professional. I would recommend Dr Scharfman to whoever is looking for a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, he is kind, knowledgeable and thorough.
