Did my scar revision procedure on my abdomen and I now feel much better with less scar tissue restriction.
Karen is rude and unhelpful. Condoscending in her tone. I have full cover private health and I have to pay upfront in full for my non cosmetic surgery and claim it all back myself. She can't even give me all the item numbers. Told me she didn't even have my private health details, why is that? I travelled to Sydney from Adelaide to see him and get a quote for FFS as a transwoman. He seemed nice to chat with but dominated the conversation not really listening to what I wanted, I asked to see examples of other similar surgeries and was redirected in conversation twice. After left I was told I’d get the quote for the first half of the surgery (two 8-10 hour surgeries required). I’ve had a number of procedures done with Dr Knight. Not only is he priced very reasonably (had quotes with several other surgeons and his quotes were amazing) but he goes above and beyond with his level of care. My first procedure I was out of theatre at 1am. He was at my bedside by 7am to do a post op check. He still provided me with amazing aftercare even when he became ill (worked from home and got his nurses to send photos while I was having a post op appointment with them and they were on the phone to him). Why aren't there more stars!? Not only is he a phenomenal surgeon but he is an amazing person. From my first consultation I knew I was in good hands. Professional and direct, yet honest and caring. I can't rate Dr Knight highly enough!
