He was supposed to fix a hernia a few months after I had my twins. I asked what I could expect after surgery. He told me I would look normal as it did befor the hernia. After the surgery my stomach looks awful. Twisted and lumpy. I don’t have a belly button anymore. It has completely shattered my self esteem. When I asked him about it he told me it was fine and that was what it was going to look like. Zero compassion.

My husband had hemorrhoids removed from Dr. Aki and they grew back. My husband was in terrible pain. Dr. Aki is not compassionate and does not explain the procedure. I went to him for a consultation and he was very cold. I would never use him for anything.

Dr. Aki was my surgeon for two breast biopsies. One was a needle and the other was surgical. Wonderful doctor and very very skilled. The surgical scar completely disappeared within a few years. His bedside manner is also wonderful; kind and compassionate.

My wife tried to tell Dr Aki her symptoms. He would not listen said it was a hamstring but he was totally wrong 5 weeks of terrible pain and the correct diagnosis was a torn miniscus I am so disappointed because of the tremendous pain she suffered as a result of his lack of listening and lack of doing an MRI to help a person in great pain. She saw at Barrington Orthopedics and he was in hurry. Still waiting for the apology

I wonder why this doctor is not retiring. He is too old for his Job. He did a surgery for my wife and said the scar will diaper in a few months. He has done a bad job in stitching the wound and a bulky wound and an uneven black scar is still there even after 3 years.
