Thank you to Dr Chu who went out of his way to help my little one when I myself was unwell. He was kind and professional and took the time to explain what was going on. A lovely doctor!
Gave birth in Norwest hospital. He advised that my son has to go to nursery so nurse can count his breathing per minute and kept pushinh me to give my son a formula inst3ad of breastmilk.! Dr said its just 3-4 hrs. but he didnt show up after 4 plus hrs and my son stayed there overnight. Nurse said parents can go back to our room and have a rest as its almost 11pm and dr hasnt advised anything yet. im so tired after giv8ng birth so i did. lo and behold after we left (which is almost midnight!), he requested for chest xray tes... read more
He is very very expensive charged almost $400 for hardly 20 minutes consultation and they never mentioned about price increments last visit was 250 and after few months same consultation become 380 and we got surprised what changed rather than price ?
It’s such a shame that some unfortunate clerical errors have resulted in people leaving scathing 1 star reviews for Dr Chu. My experience with both my children has been that he is a caring, thorough and knowledgeable paediatrician. Yes there can be long wait times but that’s generally expected with specialists, and it means Dr Chu takes his time with every patient and doesn’t rush you out the door when you’re with him. If you need a gentle and thorough paediatrician who listens to you as a parent, I highly recommend Dr Chu.
