Dr. Bernard has merged with Catholic Health, and it is extremely frustrating to make an appointment or contact anyone at the office now. You are greeted by a call center in Ireland when the office is just miles away. As for Dr. Bernard, I saw him for bronchitis, and he forgot to send my antibiotic prescription to the pharmacy. I asked for a refill on another medication I take daily, and he only sent in a two-week supply. Was with him for decades. Always was pleased. As of last few years he has really slipped. Needed some approvals. I get ignored. Call and they promise to send an “urgent “ message. Ignored. Go to the office. Won’t let me speak with him without an appointment. By the way, his appointments are 2 to 3 weeks out. Anyway, left a message.ignored. Went down again and handed a written note. That seemed to work. Got my approval approximately 12 hours before my surgery. I like this guy, but he needs to retire.

Disgusted the way reception handled my booking intake appointment was very incompetent. The man could not speak to me straight, therefore he probably could not understand what I’m telling him. horrible experience. Unacceptable Stereotypical. And it sad because I kno he is a great dr. An excellent dr at that. By but that’s why you have running your reception??? Totally unacceptable.

I had my first appointment with Dr Bernard. We discussed a myriad of issues of which he was to help. I was told he'd call me back 1/7/26 at 2:30, its 1/12 and I still haven't heard back from anyone in that office. I can't even get through to a receptionist now. I don't understand what is going on, as a new patient this is a huge red flag. I just want my test results and to have my follow up appointment.
