Dr. Woods misdiagnosed me. I tested positive for Lupus, and even though he read the results, he chose to tell me the test was negative just because I didn't have the butterfly rash. After not getting any better, I requested copies of my test and found out it was indeed positive. After inquiring as to why I was told the test was negative, Dr. Woods said he disagreed with the test because of the absence of a facial rash. He refused to give me a referral to a rheumatologist. Dismissive & unprofessional. I felt apprehensive & anxious while waiting 30+ mins. Each appt felt rushed, but this time he started the visit defensive & argumentative, too. He would not allow me to finish my sentence before he interrupted w/ his opinion re: unrelated topic which I was not being seen for. He said that he did not believe I suffered from a chronic progressive disease that had been diagnosed by a specialist (one of his colleagues @ same medical group).
