Had 3 separate doctors refer me to Mellen because of concerning test findings. Dr. Bermel reviewed none of the objective test findings and blamed my vision issues I wear prism glasses for on depression/anxiety (which i don't have) and didn't look at all the tests that show multiple lesions, autonomic issues, breathing problems, double vision, etc. He even wrote down wrong test results in my chart. Avoid this doctor, he is incompetent and clearly has ill intent towards patients.

If I would have listened to Dr. Bermel, I would probably be dead now, or severely disabled. I found out since leaving the clinic that I don't even have MS. I have Lyme disease. Neuroborreliosis. If I had suppressed my immune system, the bacteria that causes Lyme would have had a huge party, unabated. I had even asked Dr. Bermel, "What about Lyme disease?". He said "We tested you for that, and you don't have it". I recently found out that most allopathic doctors knew since 1992 that they were testing improperly for Lyme, and ... read more
