I paid over $12,000 for a child custody evaluation, only to realize that this evaluator prioritizes court connections and attorney relationships over truly assessing the family's best interests. Once you're under contract, the concern for fairness and thoroughness disappears. What a pathetic excuse for a medical professional who only gets paid when the court mandates it. God be with you if you’re unfortunate enough to be forced to speak with this excuse for a human being. He should not be allowed to practice or insinuate a diagnosis based on a visit that revolves around a stressful situation, which is court. He is biased, sexist and a lot of other adjectives that I don’t care to describe. He’s not worth the time or money and I urge you to request (if you can) a different doctor to work with. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I was referred to Dr. Theis by the mediator. I wish I had an option to pick a different psychiatrist, looking at Dr. Theis reviews gave me a very bad feeling, and it was true! I was going through a very difficult divorce with my ex husband. My ex is an extreme narcissist, con artist, drug addict, abusive, can't hold down a job, has really bad mental issues. I sent my evidence that he's unstable as a parent.
