Ugh. Don't go to this guy. Very cold and unfriendly. Wouldn't shake my hands because he is germaphobic. Didn't even look at me or my belly. Didn't make eye contact said I was fat and two other doctors said I had abdominal fluid retention. Ordered a colonoscopy and endoscopy and blood tests I just had done. Not going back. Phooey.
Dr. Pleva exhibited no concern for my condition. He did an endoscopy with no immediate follow-up except noting on a piece of paper that he took a biopsy. Only over a week later at the scheduled f/u he came in and stated, "I have no good news for you! You have stage 4 esophageal cancer and there is little that can be done except place a stent in your esophagus." That's all!
