Dr. Schlenk seems to be a very compassionate and knowledgeable spinal surgeon, after my first visit. His (assistant/resident)? was caring and efficient during the preliminary exam. Dr. Schlenk explained everything to me about my injury of L4&5 and what he could do to help relieve my pain by fusing. He put me at ease and I have confidence that I’m in good hands with him as my spinal surgeon. Surgery is scheduled.
