I saw Dr Wohns about 20 years ago due to disc rupture at C5-6, he informed me that fusion was only option, no PT or other recommendation, I had fusion with relief of some of my symptoms and was told the rest I would have to live with. I have dealt with severe neck pain intermittently and nerve damage to outer arms intermittently for the past 20 years. I am so grateful to have met Dr. Wohns. My back pain was excruciating & progressively worsening, I had to use a walker to get out of bed in the mornings, my activities were extremely limited. I met with Dr. Wohns who took all the time I needed to get my questions answered. He was extremely thorough with my preop workup before discussing my diagnoses & surgery with me. It's not Dr Whons, it's his company. Worst administration, billing, customer service I've ever experienced. Nick, nurse manager is aggressive and rude. D'Ann in billing doesn't follow up. I've delt with them for years, but no more. Run to another doctor office!

South Sound Neurosurgery, or Neospine as it's now known, is a great clinic. I was in bad shape when I was sent to them via a friend's recommendation. First off, the staff was incredibly nice. Dr. Wohns was wonderful. I needed a disc replaced in my neck. 45 min. outpatient surgery. i was very well informed and all my questions were answered. I feel like I got my life back!
My first appointment reassured me that they really do want to help me with my chronic pain. The genuinely care and that makes me feel great. Thanks for taking such great care of my husband! He had a really tough cervical surgery and beginning to end everyone at Neospine was great. Office folks were friendly and helpful, lots of checks and balances along the way and the staff obviously know what they are doing and work as a team. I first saw Dr Wohn after a horrible misdiagnosis from Good Samaritan Hospital. What was diagnosed as a muscle spasm, actually was a herniated cervical disc which was pressing on a nerve causing horrible neck & arm pain.
