Dr. Morris has been my PCP for the last 4 (or 5?) years. He has left the practice where I've seen him, and I couldn't be more disappointed. He's kind and easy to talk to, extremely knowledgeable, and able to explain complex processes that affect my health, in a way I can readily understand. Since I have a few chronic health conditions, his counsel has been invaluable for comprehending and balancing out all the specialists' opinions and test results. Dr. Morris was extremely talkative, but not very good at asking questions. I imagine he would be effective for treating specific, easily diagnosable issues that are common at urgent care clinics, but he seems to lack the curiosity, empathy or patience that one might hope to find in a primary care physician.
Dr. Richard Morris is knowledgeable, kind and caring. My regular PCP is great, but her availability, like many in the Northern VA area, is limited. When I broke out in a severe rash post-surgery and couldn’t get an appointment for several days, I got a next day at Novacare down the block.
