In 2005 I was diagnosed with a tethered spinal cord that was causing nerve issues & difficulty for a lifetime in hindsight. At the time of surgery, 11 years old(34 now), Dr Ellenbogen was one of the only surgeons that specialized in Arnold Chiari Malformation and Syringomyelia as it was a very little known defect. Through the whole process of scans, before and after surgery this man saved my life. He is so knowledgeable in his field it made things less scary. If I had a child with any neurology issue, this man is the one to see. I will forever be grateful to him.

Dr. Ellenbogen removed my Craniopharyngioma when I was 7. I don’t regret my parents decision in the least.
Dr. Ellenbogen took on a very tricky operation that involved a tumor wrapped around a spinal cord. A six hour operation came out a huge success removing 95% of the tumor (part was too close to a major artery). He is a pro. Thank you Dr. Ellenbogen!
