We're sorry to hear Dr. Culpepper is leaving Huntsville! He replaced my hips almost 20 years ago and is a wonderful surgeon! My hips are still in great shape! I'm hoping that his nurse, Vickie Montgomery, will continue on in that department. She would be an asset to the new surgeon. She is such a joy, so friendly and compassionate, always remember's me. I would recommend SportsMED to anyone needing orthopedic surgery!
Dr. Culpepper is very professional with question you may have and give a very good explanation of all questions. surgery went very well and office visits where to the point with the path of recover and therapy that was received
He gets to the problem right away. He will tell you your options but the decision has to come from you. His nurse Vicki is fabulous. She will help in any way she can. The other staff are helpful and pleasent.
I appreciate the professional service that Dr. Culpepper provided to my husband before, during and after his knee replacement surgery. He was very thorough in explaining what the surgery would entail, and he answered our questions with explicity and layman language. Vickie, Dr. Culpepper's nurse is just a gem. She always returned telephone calls when I needed information or had concerns.
I am extremely pleased with the care and concern I have received from Dr. Culpepper and his nurse, Vicki. They have explained all the procedures, taken the time to listen to my concerns. The surgery went well and I am recuperating and doing physical therapy.
Dr. Culpepper has performed several procedures on me over the years and I have always been pleased with the outcome. I would recommend him to my friends and family.
I have seen Dr. Culpepper for many years for a various assortment of orthopedic needs. He has performed a few surgeries and I couldn't be happier with the results. Even though he is VERY busy, he doesn't make you feel like he is trying to rush you "out the door". He is direct and too the point but in a nice way. He also answers your questions. I also LOVE his nurse, Vickie. Many thanks to BOTH of them for getting me through my surgeries and rehab.
Dr. Culpepper has made my knee replacement procedure go as smooth as I could have hoped for. Nurse Vicki goes above and beyond to help. I am recommending Dr. Culpepper to my dad for his knees replacement.
He did not listen to what I told him, and then acted surprised when I asked how his operating on my left knee was going to help my right knee. He said I had a torn meniscus but did not show me any of the images or explain what part of it was torn.
