Dr. Weiss is an extraordinary doctor, and one that we are truly fortunate to have. He is both an oncologist and a hematologist. He cares deeply about doctoring, as evidenced by the time he invests in each patient's care. In addition to myself, Dr. Weiss has treated my mother and my uncle, and as far as my family is concerned there's no other doctor to consider in this area. He saved my life. Yes, the wait times are long. If you need an appointments it is sometimes easier to go through the nurse navigator at the main hospital. Keep in mind he gives each of his patients his undivided attention. Do you want to wait for an oncologist who might see for mere minutes sticking to a strict schedule or one who will review every question you have ensuring your complete understanding? He saves lives and is well worth the wait!
Dr Weiss is a wonderful Doctor! However the wait time in his office is absolutely horrible. The staff does not keep patient’s informed of any delay’s you just set there with no explanation whatsoever. Dr Weiss needs new staff or better training on patient care and concerns.
