Great team from top to bottom. Just finished my surgery and am two weeks post op. Very detail oriented, everything from reminding me to bring an eye glass case to the hospital, to all the instructions and information pre-op and post op. They did daily checkins for two weeks after my surgery to help catch problems and teach me how to use my bands. The office staff were absolute super heroes with fighting insurance and getting documentation together, took a few tried with UHC, but was absolutely worth it.
Dr Movahed and his team honestly saved my life. I had upper jaw revision surgery and total jaw joint replacement revision over 5 months ago now. He took away my ten out of ten facial pain and I can now talk and chew without pain. The post op care is incredible and I'll always be grateful to you all. Special shout out to Kelly who has been extra helpful throughout the whole recovery. I would recommend Dr Movahed to anyone who needs jaw surgery, especially revision surgery.
Dr. Movahed is an incredibly skilled and caring surgeon. I had Double Jaw surgery in April because of a severe underbite that caused pain and clicking in my jaw, a dangerously narrow airway, breathing issues, headaches, and difficulty with chewing. He fixed all of these problems and improved my quality of life! I just had TJR this week on Tuesday. I have been scared of this surgery since I was a kid due to my dentist and hygienist growing up telling me how horrible this surgery and I need to stop clicking (as if I had a choice lol) Honestly Dr. M and staff held my hand throughout this 5 yr process and even though it's still a long road, I can see the light at the end of this tunnel. Although the reasons in which I had to visit Dr. Movahed were less than positive, the experience I had with his office was absolutely a positive one. Dr. Movahed very much cares about his patients- to the point that my initial consultation was probably an hour and a half. My surgeries were complicated and I came away pain free- something I didn’t know was possible for me.
