A very knowledgeable and caring physician who will go above and beyond for his patients. When I was stranded in Puerto Rico due to flight delays and had lost my asthma meds, I left a message with the answering service asking if he could write a prescription for me at a local pharmacy. Since it was a weekend and the practice was closed, I had little hope of getting a reply and was preparing to end up in the ER. Dr Tan is my PCP and he is a great informative Dr. He has 2 offices one in BK which I go to and another in SI , so sometimes getting an appointment takes a while depending on the day and time you may need, but that doesn’t take away from his review as a Dr. His waiting room is always full and it hat must mean something! He spends time with his patients listening to their questions and giving them useful and needed help or advice.
