This is a very very bad doctor and staff. I did a epididymal cryst surgery with Dr Hovey in 2018, I didn't fully recover, I still felt its pulling, sore in that area, not yet ready back to work, within 7 weeks. She told me it's ok back to work will be ok, this office not using email or texting to communication, only use fax, landline phone, no texting to your cell phone... Neglected to tell me to stop taking aspirin before surgery - as a result I bled continuously for several days. Does not return phone calls. Very rude staff.

Dr. Hovey is a very compassionate doctor. She is so easy to talk too, has the sweetest disposition and such a cute sense of humor. This is so important when you have to see a urologist, or in fact, any doctor. She is very through in her diagnosis and treatment. She gives you a complete understanding explanation regarding your diagnosis and treatment. I have the up most faith in her care. I was so fortunate and grateful that she saw me in her office as a unscheduled emergency appointment.

I was blessed to connect with Dr. Hovey over the past 4 weeks, with urgent, new-to-me kidney stones. Very scary. Thanks to her fine care, with the support of her team and the staff at Orange Coast Memorial, those stones are out and I am now healed. She's thorough, skilled and compassionate. More to the point, she got me through a very painful situation with good surgery, great care and just the right urgency. I'm so grateful to have found her (through Blue Shield) and grateful for her good work!
