From my doctor to my son's doctor.. As a young child I saw Dr. Mathieu...now I have a 9 year old who has been seeing Dr. Mathieu all of his life. Dr. Mathieu is a warm, gentle, calm, caring doctor. He has a great respect for mother's intuition. He is informative while being compassionate and caring and is never condescending or pushy. I can not say enough wonderful things about him. He is the only doctor I could imagine treating my child. I am just hoping he does not decide to ever retire. He would be impossible to replace.
My favorite Dr.!!! I have been going to Dr. Mathieu for 20 years. My 20 yr. old son has outgrown him and my 16yr old daughter still is a patient. I can't say enough good things about him. He has been nothing short of an excellent Dr. for my children, There is no area where I would have a complaint. His office staff and nurses have also always been exceptional. We love him too Both of my kids are teenagers and we've been seeing Dr. Mathieu for over 10 years and we love him. We moved out of Richardson and now have to drive a good distance to to his new location but I trust him completely. His practice is very well run and I always know that I can get my kids in to see him when I need to.
A Pediatrician Like No Other! My daughter has been seeing Dr. Reese Mathieu since she was 6 months old. She's a teenager now and we still love him as much as when she was a youngster. He has a very calm and caring manner and really listens to your concerns as a parent. As a toddler, my daughter experienced constant ear infections and yet he never pushed us to having tubes put in her ears. He offered us options and they worked. My long search was finally over! It is a tough job finding a pediatrician that you and your kids will like. I went through several pediatricians before I hit on Dr. Mathieu. My problems with pediatricians include: 1. massive practices where each appointment is allotted 15 min and you are shuffled through like cattle 2. condescending doctors that treat you like you are a moron 3. doctors who believe in too much intervention i.e: 2 ear infections in a row? ear tubes!
