I chose Dr. Koshy as my primary care physician right after a bone density scan showed that I had full-blown osteoporosis in my late 50s. Dr. Koshy pooh-pooled the idea of going on meds, and told me just to take calcium and vitamin D supplements. Well, after a year of those supplements another scan showed that my osteoporosis had gotten even worse. Needless to say I found a different provider who immediately put me on osteoporosis meds, and wondered why my previous doctor hadn’t done that. Honestly, if I had kept better recor... read more

HORRIBLE visit. When I checked in, I was told that Koshy had their medical student with them and was asked if the student could be present during my visit. what that ended up meaning was that the medical student did the entire visit without Koshy present. Koshy only made an appearance for the final 3 minutes. Once she finally appeared, she refused to give me the referral I need which was the primary reason for the appointment, was condescending, and dismissed anything I tried to add to the conversation. When I began to cry be... read more

I feel compelled to write a review about my experience with this doctor; I normally would let it go but felt so dismissed off the bat that I thought other people should know. I have never had a shorter medical intake when meeting a new doctor, 5 min face-to-face, 2 min of her eye contact. The first thing she said was "were certainly not going to have time to address of all of your needs today so you'll need to make another appt," when I really did not feel my needs were extensive at all, they were rather basic (getting old p... read more

I have never in my life had to request a new medical provider, but after two visits with Dr Koshy, I could not imagine keeping her as my PCP. While she was very knowledgeable about medical matters, she came off as curt and abrasive. I instantly felt rushed and like she was annoyed to be in the room with me. Her statements and questions, as well as the tone of them, made me feel stupid. I no longer felt comfortable sharing everything I wanted to share or asking what I wanted to ask. I'm sure other people might have different ... read more

I was experiencing symptoms of endometriosis (sharp uterus pains) she responded "that's weird" and didn't follow up. She also told me to lose weight since my BMI was on the border of being above average. I'm 5'8 and a womens size 8....

She was the least helpful doctor I have ever been to. I went in for shoulder pain she never touched my shoulder and left me in tears.

I went in for my annual physical and shared my family history with the doctor. As a older male I have come to expect the Testicular exam, Hernia exam and Prostate exam. With a family history of Prostate cancer I was very surprised that none of the before mentioned were performed. I came in with active problems with diverticulitis (Bacteria grow in the pouches, and this can lead to inflammation or infection. Other that a suggestion of diet change nothing else was done. I'm looking for another Dr
