I was told by the Langone Neurosurgeon who is going to operate on my wife in October that we must see Dr. Lalchan very shortly after the procedure to program the implanted device. I called to make the appointment and was office that April was the earliest. I gave the scheduler a detailed description as to why this was not acceptable. She seemed to have no real knowledge of the situation and I asked for a direct number to the office and got only voicemails and no call backs.
