My husband has been seeing Dr. Mena for over 25 years. He had stage 4 lung cancer which Dr. Mena helped him through. To deal with the pain, Dr. Mena prescribed Dilaudid (for 25 years!) after a very painful recovery, a month in rehab, he kicked it. Hi, After a year of my TNBC diagnosis/mastectomy, I saw Dr Mena for annual check-up. He gave blood work and did physical examination, he told me everything is fine. later I called and I begged to do diagnostic imaging but he refused and said it's not necessary. I then visited another oncologist (his coworker) and it took me another 3 months. Dr Mena took care of my best friend who was battling colon, breast, and prostate cancer in 2003. He is the most caring and kind physician you will ever find. He took unbelievable care of my friend, and even when the chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery all failed, Dr Mena was there until the end.
