A close family friend of mine has been trying to get in contact with the office regarding her prescriptions. They informed her that her prescription had been sent through to the pharmacy in town. Which is not what she wanted. She’d been having it sent through a home delivery service because she’s older and it’s more convenient. She’d called a couple more times to speak with Crystal and the medical receptionist was incredibly rude to her.
Dr Rao has been taking care of my wife in excess of three years now. We think he is great. Explains in deal test results, surgery went great, gives us a feeling he really cares. The only difficult was getting in to see him the first time. After that great. His staff has always treated us well.
After several calls to Dr. Rao’s office over a period of 6 days Dr Rao refused to write me a prescription for a CPAP machine saying I didn’t need a written prescription because it was “ out of pocket”. he apparently is not even knowledgeable about FDA requirements. When I tried to explain, the receptionist was extremely rude, would not listen – just kept saying out of pocket, repeatedly. Any company who sells a CPAP device has to report to FDA. so I will find a new doctor.
I’ve Dr Rao since for last 30 years. He is an amazing knowledgeable experienced pulmonologist . He’s kind, accurate, very thorough and leaves nothing out. And his nurse assistant is amazing. I first saw him when we worked at Baptist downtown Pensacola; He diagnosed me with asthma at 35yrs old and did proper testing and treated me immediately giving me relief after all my GP doctors missed it for years!
