This man shouldn’t have a license. Not only is he incredibly disrespectful, particularly to women, but he is completely out of touch with modern medicine and has a skewed understanding of the human body. Don’t visit this office. Just don’t.
This Dr. is great! Always had positive experiences with him and staff.
Dr avula is amazing! However his front desk staff is horrible and rude! His manager is even worse! My son has been seeing Dr avula since he was 5 because of his breathing they couldn't do anything until he turned 1. (We see him with my other children too and have forv6 years) Hes now 1 and they canceled his appointment because we don't have insurance even though I explained that I'd pay out of pocket same day! I have had good experiences here at the Mount Pleasant location. My allergies have improved immensely. The medication regimen Dr. Avula recommended has helped a lot.
DO NOT GO HERE! My wife was dealing with allergens and wanted some answers, and unfortunately this place was recommended to us, so we went. My wife came home in tears and told me what had happened: The doctor would consistently interrupt both her and her mother, not allowing them to share symptoms. He would constantly talk over them and treated them like they were stupid, not allowing them to get words in that would aide in his diagnosing of her issues.
