I had severe GERD that was destroying my quality of life. In 2008, I found Dr. Aye, after researching 8 months to find the right doctor. He did the Hill Repair to stop my severe heartburn. It is 2023, and my surgery is still working with no heartburn or GERD symptoms. He changed my life and I’m forever grateful. Also, a very thoughtful, caring man.

Dr. Aye did surgery on me in 2014. I am happy to say that he did an excellent job and I no longer have severe symptoms. It really changed my life. He and his staff were great to work with and I felt that I had excellent care.

Over ten years ago Dr Aye performed an intricate, lengthy and delicate surgery of my esophagus. I am happy to say I am alive, healthy and looking forward to many years free of symptoms. Dr. Aye is a surgeon, a technician and when it comes to surgery, I want the best technician. He also aided me in selecting the best available anesthesiologist. He explained the surgery and answered all my questions. Post surgery he was extremely careful to avoid any possible infection. I owe my life to him.

Listens, asks detailed question, plans, gets appropriate testing ordered efficiently. Detail oriented staff who are knowledgeable and communicative. Looks you in the eye and gives clear synopsis of the situation and plan. Glad we have him on our team.

Testing was excessive, given the reasons I was referred. I argued that at least one procedure was not going to be useful and wish I'd refused. I received biopsies that were never discussed in my appointments (I took copious notes and had someone else present - biopsies were not discussed). On top of that, Dr. Aye used a non-network lab, so now I'm stuck with thousands of dollars in bills, when in-network labs were available.
