Dr. Pastoriza is amazing! He is very patient and kind, he remembers small details about my family every time he sees me. After each delivery, he sent a card of congratulations to my home with a handwritten note inside. It meant a lot to me that a busy doctor took the time to get to know small details about me, then mention those details in the card. Did not care for all of his staff but Dr. Pastoriza himself is very kind and caring doctor.
Dr. Pastoriza was on call for my OBGYN and ended up delivering my daughter. He was the most uncaring, rude doctor I've ever met. He made no effort to come to my delivery room and meet me beforehand(Dr. Vendola did for he delivery of my son; he was on call for my regular OBGYN) once he came into he room he made no eye contact while speaking to me, and his tone of voice was monotonous like he didn't really care. Dr. Pastoriza and staff made me feel very comfortable. They answered my questions when I had them. Dr. Pastoriza took time with me for I was having major surgery and I was very concerned. He answered all my questions. He did not make me feel like he was hurried. He is very caring Doctor, which is a rarity these days.
Cares for his patients, listens, stands up for his patients, shows empathy, knowledgeable, unbelievable memory, takes time and follows up if requested, will let a patient know why he is or has made the decision he has made regarding intervention or procedure, skilled surgeon, very good bedside manner, puts patient and family at ease.
