Raja Ata Atiyah, Beirut, Lebanon – physician and surgeon license was reprimanded for failing to properly perform laser surgery resulting in a cosmetic defect which required the patient to undergo a second surgical procedure.
Dr. Atiyah is the only doctor I know that gives his patients his personal cell phone number, and calls them personally to check on them. He is a Christian, and cares about and helps the poor both in his area and outside of the country. His staff think the world of him, and are loyal to him. His surgical techniques are superior.
Dr. Atiyah used to practice medicine in Illinois. He had multiple law suits there (I was one of them). After my surgery, he took off to Lebanon for a couple years to avoid legal problems. He did my surgery over 10 yrs ago and I am still paying the price. He took out 25% of my sinus (lab results showed there was nothing wrong), and shattered my nose. Dr. Atiyah is an excellent physician and his expertises are outstanding. He performed septoplasty on my nose and my breathing is better than it has been in years. I highly recommend Dr. Atiyah as a doctor.
Very knowledgeable in his field. Takes time to explain to patient so that they may understand their problem and treatment. Seems to be a very caring person.
