I booked an appointment with Dr. Torrez online after reading many glowing 5-star reviews. Her front desk staff was kind and friendly but the doctor herself was not. She didn't greet me when she walked in, and didn't take my vitals. I was anxious about being in a medical setting which seemed to annoy her, and she didn't conduct any kind of exam on me (aside from quickly pressing on my abdomen as I sat in a chair, fully clothed). Dr Torrez came highly recommended by a close friend, I never was able to see her. Her office staff initially said my insurance would not be accepted and once it was confirmed it would be accepted, they were rude and insensitive. I would not recommend
Excellent work. Fast customer service and follow up.
I’ve been seeing Dr Torrez for years. She does many things well, like it’s easy to get an appointment and she’s good at diagnosing. But I saw her for several years of physicals and she never ordered blood work. She knew I was taking a medication that is dangerous to kidneys, but she never sent me for blood work. I just found out that I have Stage 3 kidney disease, because of the medication. I’m heart broken. And very, very angry.
Dr. Torrez has been my Dr. for 15+ years. After all this time, I have no complaints. Always Attentive.Courteous.Timely.Easy to talk to.Does not talk down to me. Makes sure I understand everything. I have never had to wait to get an appointment. Compitant,Friendly,Professional staff. I am lucky to have her as my Doctor.
