Dr. Cen seemed knowledgeable about my diagnosis, but unfortunately my experience with my care was disappointing. During my treatment, I only had lab work done once, and I later ended up hospitalized with an issue that I believe routine monitoring may have caught earlier. My current doctor orders regular labs, which has made me realize how important that follow-up is for my condition. Dr. Cen has been my husband’s doctor for the last 4 years. We have been so blessed with a great physician! We are pleased with her care and knowledge that she has. The best oncologist that truly cares for her patients!
I had a terrible experience with Dr. Cen and her staff. Dr. Julie Rowe might be a better alternative. Dr. Cen’s staff are not competent either. The point I’m trying to make is this, since Dr. Cen is a pancreatic cancer oncologist—Don’t go to Memorial Hermann, go to MD Anderson or Baylor St. Luke. Memorial Hermann is not a hospital that can handle pancreatic cancer patients.
She killed my father. It took me countless calls and voicemails just to get her on the phone and she refused to even say "sorry for your loss". She has ZERO compassion and bedside manner is nonexistent. I do not wish her well. At all.
Do not see this physician unless you are trying to die, she did absolutely nothing to treat my dear friend with cancer. Her offuce staff are equally horrible with no follow-up.
