First appointment and the last: Got charged $460 for a less than 10min appointment and a blood test prescription. Needed to pay another $460 for an eco... Declined the eco, paid what I had to and left feeling robbed.
Dr Palka found through a detailed radiography scan I had heart damage, Aortic Sclerosis. A result from long term smoking, late nights and diet. It was sad and shocking to hear alone in a new city the day before my birthday. He spurred me onto make healthier lifestyle choices. Through daily walks that reach 8 -10 K steps, eating a clean predominantly a plant based diet with minimal alcohol and no smoking.
