I went to see Dr. Iyer after not receiving the care that I needed for my arthritis from a different UCI doctor. I wish I had gone elsewhere i.e. outside of UCI. As a side note, I have a complicated/complex health history and was hoping for a rheumatologist who would do a thorough Q&A with me to understand my history. While Dr. Iyer asked a lot of questions and examined my upper body joints as well as a few of my lower joints, when asking questions, she seemed to rush me through my response(s). Amazing doctor. I travel from Southern Nevada just to see her for the amazing treatment she provides.
If I could rate 0 I would. It is absolutely amazing how incompetent most of the departments are. Currently dealing with rheumatoid arthritis and while at first things seemed okay it has only gotten worse. After the first two medications stopped working, Dr Iyer decided to submit authorization for a new one. I was in pain, going through a horrible flare and hoped to hear back immediately.
