Former patient that had 3-4 appointments. The doctor dismissed me, even giggling when I explained my debilitating symptoms, told I’d get better because of “my age” even though I was getting worse, denied to give me any sort of treatment even though my condition had disabled me, and kept being told to come back in 6-8 weeks while pushing medication like gabapentin that I didn’t need or want. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Prakash and her lovely staff. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and at ease. Everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. Amber at the front desk greeted me with a smile and helped me through the check-in process without any hassle. I was a patient for two years. I do not feel the doctor knows a lot about the illness “sclerdoma” which is a fatal condition. She treated me like I was a number. Her office staff is extremely rude and they never answer the phone or return messages. I am disabled and have no car so it was hard to get there. I missed some time but they also cancelled on me so many times and told me that I can not be seen if I didn’t pay them $32 on that day. I begged for help.
