It was my Mom. My Mom went as a referral to see any Neurologist at HNI in Pasadena, TX. My Mom was very discouraged after meeting with Dr. Palvadi. The Dr told her to get her affairs in order, and put her on a very strong stimulant for Tardive Dyskinisia. My Mom has minor tremors to had been given something that strong 4 months into the treatment. Dr. Palvadi was so wonderful and we never felt rushed. She spent a huge amount of time with us answering my daughters many questions and being patient with her. She genuinely wanted to help us. We originally had an appt with another dr. in the office, but I'm actually glad our appt was switched to Dr. Palvadi. My only disappointment is that we didn't find her sooner.
Dr. Palvadi was extremely sensitive to my condition. A very thorough examination was given. My biggest surprise is she called me a few weeks after my visit to talk to me about a new clinical trial regarding my Thyroid Eye Disease. (I was not even seeing her for this). She has been practicing for many years in Neurology and she is very pleasant to talk to.
Dr, Palvadi was rude and arrogant. Not explaining any of the results, jus yelling at me as to what she thinks I should do.
1st visit with my husband, she was pushing the MS drugs hard, I said no thank you, I'm doing exceptionally well for someone with as many lesions as I have since 1992. Visit 2 with husband, she told me to keep it up and refilled my medications to control my symptoms. Visit 3 (WITHOUT my husband), she went off of on me because I refused MS drug, yelled, and fired me?! It's MY body. It's my legal right to decide what medications I put in my body or not. & did not give me the respect that I deserve!
