I was diagnosed with focal aware seizures by hospital staff after I went to the ER while having a seizure and he told me that the seizure type didn’t exist even though the national epilepsy association recognized it as a type and he should know better. Told me I didn’t have a seizure despite not having witnessed the event or spoken to hospital staff who had. Spoke over me the entire appt. I won’t be back.
