Very friendly. She took care of my wife.
I was seen by Dr.Biyani after being in the ER for severe abdominal issues, constipation and almost unable to pass stool. She spent less than two minutes in the room with me and after discussing my inability to pass stool and overall pain and nausea, I was then scheduled for a colonoscopy four months later. Thankfully I got a second opinion and within a week and a half I was scheduled for a colonoscopy, which led to surgery three weeks later, which led to a surgery with a stage three cancer diagnosis. Was seen an hour after my scheduled appointment. Didn’t have the courtesy to review my file, suggested procedure already done two years ago which did not help. Ended 5-minute appointment standing without laptop, pad, without checking anything saying she can’t help. Would not recommend it and will never go back. Total disrespect for your time and condition.
Prior to my appointment, I was looking forward to having a female gastroenterologist who also had decent reviews. However, I was discouraged after my initial consultation. She had an aura of arrogance, she was dismissive of my concerns, and she lacked empathy. While she did order a few tests, she pawned off my follow-up on another "nurse who works closely with her," which I think reiterates my point of her being dismissive of my concerns (which are extremely serious and curious to me).
