Terrible, terrible office and doctor. I’m also sending a complaint to the Board of Medicine about this awful practice. I’ve been trying to make an appointment for six weeks. A referral was sent in, and I have called daily for the past two weeks with no response. This is the worst medical experience I have had in my life. As a 64-year-old pharmacist, I would tell anyone to stay away from this practice and office—patients are treated with a complete lack of respect and basic professionalism.

My wife waited months as a new patient to see Dr. Rumalla who was referred to from her primary care. Dr. Rumalla was friendly enough, but when he sat and read her medical records from Moffit Cancer center he told us they ran all the tests that he would have ran and there was nothing else to do. When I said aren't there new methods to treat IBS? Dr Rumalla told me to go google it. Well I did and found a FOD Map which we are now using. I guess he didn't want to be bothered with someone who doesn't need expensive testing.

I have known Dr. P. Rumalla professionally for over 30 years. He is an outstanding endoscopist and diagnostician. There may be challenges with the practice, but you will never find a better, more thorough, safer, and competent gastroenterologist. I trust him with my health without reservation.
