Dr. Du‘s clinic has an excellent team with great service and attentive, considerate care for patients. Dr. Du is highly skilled and communicates effectively with patients, listening to their feedback. With his help, my heart condition has improved significantly, and the medication he prescribed is simple yet effective. He is very meticulous and patient, making his clinic a trustworthy choice.
Dr. Du remains an outstanding clinician, but his front-office staff badly undermines the quality of care. My recent email exchange about the validity of a simple lab order turned into a maze of curt, contradictory, and ultimately unhelpful replies. What should have been resolved in one clear response was instead dragged out, below is just one example. Dr. Du is absolutely, hands down the best cardiologist ever! I was initially referred to him by my internal medicine doctor who said "if I ever need a Cardiologist, Dr. Du is the one I would use. He is the best in the area and likely one of the best Cardiologists in the state of California!". First his bedside manner is so caring. Dr. Du goes above and beyond in caring for his patients. During an unexpected emergency episode, Dr. Du, though technically on vacation himself, even made arrangements for my husband through a colleague, and we believe it helped save my husband’s life. He and the team he has built practice with the highest culture of respect for patients and with a holistic understanding of how cardiac care can interact with other aspects of the patient’s and family’s well-being.
