I had my initial appointment with Dr. Shapiro today and I've never had a healthcare experience like it. From the second I walked into the door, I was welcomed with respect and kindness. I was initially nervous, as I am with all doctors appointments, but Maria, the nurse I spoke to, had great energy, was empathetic, personable, and made me feel most comfortable. Rude. Fat Shaming. Uncomfortable. I saw Dr. Shapiro for a couple years, she was my first obgyn. My first ever visit, being a virgin (she really couldn’t believe I was a 21 year old virgin and even kicked my mom out of the room to ask me again without her being present..) Clean office and helpful staff. The doctor was attentive and listened to all my concerns. I had a great visit.
Dr. Shapiro is a wonderful doctor that makes you feel very comfortable and keeps me informed during your entire visit. She never makes me like she’s rushing.
