I attended the 2 pm showing of the King and I yesterday and the show was phenomenal. The actors were perfectly casted and truly did justice to such a classic musical. I would give the performance 5 gleaming stars! The loss of 3 stars in my rating is because of the acoustics in the Walt Disney theatre... they are abysmal. I have seen two shows at the theatre in just over a year, Wicked and The King and I. Both were gifts for my partner for special occasions, totaling over $700 for both shows.
