Unfortunately I feel I should warn anyone considering a corneal transplant to keep looking for your surgeon. Starting with being prepped for the wrong surgery. Nurse didn’t check the chart and prepped me for a cataract surgery. Followed by Dr Hoops being dismissive and forging ahead. Clinically keeping to his schedule. Recovery was horrific. Two year later I have had a wound revision, where he used more stitches and a tighter stitch I now have a very steep area that has created a situation where I have 11 stitches 2 1/2 year... read more
