I should preface this review by saying that I was apprehensive about neurologists in general after a terrible experience in Austin. I was first referred to Dr. Blum for an EMG only. The first thing I noticed was that the office is clean and bright (and had a coffee bar…nice!) I could tell immediately that the staff here is very kind and quite efficient. My first Neurologist was Dr. Blum. Recently I went through a rough patch with my Neurologists. I started to think back, Dr. Blum was a very caring and through doctor. He diagnosed me with MS. He didn't "run" away after telling me but made feel like I could get through this. Great doctor, kind man.
Impossible to get ahold of nursing staff to correct a billing issue. I was sent to Quest by them to do blood work that my insurance ended up declining stating it was "experimental". The broken system healthcare is, no one communicates with each other or provides codes to me to help get this resolved. I've been trying to get them to rebill Quest and my insurance so that I'm not paying $500 out of pocket for a blood test they sent me to do, but no one answers the phone.
