Dr. Geron's staff is rude and uninterested in their patients. I require surgery. I called to arrange a consult with the doctor. I spoke with "Romina". To avoid spending approximately 3 hours of travel and appointment time, I had to ask questions to ensure that the doctor could perform the specified surgery, would take my insurance, and the facility would take my insurance. Romina interrupted my questions, spoke over me and was only interested in booking a (billable) consult.
Dr. Geron is a particularly good doctor clinically. Unfortunately, his clinical skills are more than outweighed by a particularly rude, discourteous and unsupportive office staff. It is sad that Dr. Geron's positive personality in providing patient treatment is so negatively impacted by the demeaning manner in which his office staff communicates to you. Unless you wish to experience such discourtesy I would strongly recommend seeking alternative medical care regarding your oral surgical needs
