Dr M saved my life both literally and figuratively many years ago. his dedication to medicine and his lasting excellence speaks volumes for his character.
Dr. Minella saved my life with an emergency craniotomy to remove the one thing in the title that was causing the other life-threatening thing in the title. He did all that and preserved enough healthy brain tissue that I've been able to stay (mostly) independent, have a decent quality of life (quite good, really, if you consider the state I was in when EMS brought me to him), and most important in my mind, Dr. Marinella's interventions allowed me to be around to parent my child.
