DO NOT SEE THIS PSYCHIATRIST!!!!! Dr. Yam is extremely unprofessional, rude, and dismissive. He laughed and smiled throughout our sessions- for the ENTIRE time- even when I was discussing my brother’s recent death. He lied to me about many things regarding my treatment which led to me having to RECORD my next session with him. I left every session I had with him in tears. Do not be misled. This physician and the clinic he works for, Serenity, appear more focused on selling high-reimbursement treatments like TMS than providing care. From the very first intake, the subtle sales pitches begin with lines such as ‘we’re not a traditional clinic.’ During the first appointment, there were no meaningful questions or discussion—just a brief history followed by a sales pitch for their services.
